A bewildered lover does not walk on her feet.

She rides her bike across entire continents fueled by love...

And that is how it will go...

To love birds merrily pedaling around the country side.A very loose plan so far is, start in California see some friends around Lake Tahoe, hop a train to Austin Texas for the North American hand made bicycle show and nerd out as much as possible and hopefully see a few good friends, then another long train ride to N.Y.C / New Jersey to eat as much vegan junk food and laugh with friends as humanly possible. From there over to Philadelphia to pick up our bikes, where the real adventure will begin. But we won't get to far ahead of ourselves for there are still a few weeks of throwing my ethics to the wind and waking up at 4.30 am every morning to go and stack a supermarket fridge with sweet tasting poison for the apathetic masses to drink up. All in the name of the almighty $$$ and the dream of this journey....

Here is a picture of the style of bike we are getting made for us from the kind people at bilenky cycles. (check out there site if your a bike nerd like me. ) Although the pictured bike above was  made by spencer wright of traffic cycle design with the help of goat one of the guys at www.ridingthespine.com Those huge tires you see bulging in front of you are from the genius minds at surly. They may not win you the tour de france, but with any luck they will get us to some empty waves. Boarding the plane tomorrow. YEEEEEEEEWWWWWWW Let the good times roll...... oh what a pun.

The LOVE BIRDS have landed...

After leaving the nest and spending 16 hours in a air-conditioned nightmare soaring 30,000 ft above the deep blue yonder we arrived sound and safe in HELL-A-X!!!  We swiftly hired a car and putted north along highway 1 itching for the Bu (Malibu of course!), only to find it flat :(

No problem for us, we had vegan pizza and coffee to soothe our heavy hearts...
